I resist moving
Burrowing deeply in warmth
One more cup of tea…

This I write one week ago
My favorite blanket tucked
Around me
The Blizzard
Cutting off power
And warmth

And now I burrow deeply in
Warmth and sunshine

Apparently we haven’t had enough snow yet this Winter…
